Embedded in the plastic are steel rods and pins that make it stiffer, heavier and provide a balance that feels closer to a full metal balisong. The puzzled chanwich construction offers great rigidity while maintaining optimal printing quality. It runs on race washers with ceramic bearings, which offer great tolerances for a plastic balisong.
